How to Obtain PMP Certification
To obtain PMP certification, start by ensuring you meet the eligibility requirements set by PMI. You need 36 months of project leadership experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 60 months without one. Additionally, complete 35 contact hours of formal project management education before applying.
After that, fill out the application on the PMI website, pay the exam fee, and prepare for the exam, which consists of 180 questions over 230 minutes. Once you're ready, schedule your exam and pass it to earn your certification.
